The Spur Resource Corporation has been actively engaged in acquisitions and divestments since January of 1992 when the corporation was formed by Karen Herbst, President and current sole owner. Ms. Herbst was previously employed by Oryx Energy Company as a production landman from 1984-1992 in the Denver, Midland & Lansing Michigan, Oklahoma City and Dallas offices exposing her to operations in the Williston Basin, Prairie DuChein & Niagaran Reef Plays in Michigan, Appalachian Basin, and Mid-Continent. Prior to Oryx, Ms. Herbst was employed by Gulf Oil Corporation from 1981-1984 in the Casper, Wyoming office as an exploration and production landman in the Rocky Mountains and Williston Basin.

Prior to recently accomplishing the long term objectives described under "About Us", Spur previously assembled teams of highly competent contract acquisition or divestment due diligence landmen and computer programmers if needed, to assist oil and gas companies buying or selling oil and gas assets.
